Authors and main characters of the comic book Uletenci told their stories in the Martinus Bookstore.
Another successful discussion about a comic book Uletenci took place on 19th March 2019 in the Martinus bookstore. It was moderated by Zuzana Golianová and apart from the authors, comic book's main heroes Khadra from Ethiopia and Faisal from Afghanistan took part. Enjoy the event's atmosphere thanks to the beautiful photos by Ján Belák.
Uletenci comics will introduce you to the stories of young people who have been forced to leave their country and currently live in Slovakia. This book is designed in particular for children to read about the childhood memories of refugees and their various experiences while living in Slovakia. The book was published by the Human Rights League in 2018. The book can be purchased in Martinus, Gorila, Artforum and Art Books Coffee bookstores.
We are also organizing interesting workshops for elementary and high schools in Bratislava region, with the participation of the main heroes.
This activity is supported within the project "Migration Compass" od the operational programme Effective Public Administration from the European Social Fund.
