Denys comes from Western Ukraine and has lived in Slovakia since 2013. For a long time, he worked as a tourism manager. After the outbreak of the war in Ukraine in 2022, he volunteered at a first contact center at the train station in Košice. Since September 2022, he has been an employee of the Human Rights League, where he works as a first contact worker and community interpreter at the Integration Center of the Košice Region.
